Seldom taught in modern yoga classes bandhas have very practical applications. When you find them you'll understand why they are so important for the physical and energetic body. Bandhas create inward stability keeping your spine extended and your thoracic cavity open so that you can breath deeply and move safely within postures.

This workshop will logically breakdown their importance and show you how to find the powerful internal locks in standing postures, balance postures, seated postures, twists, backbends and inversions. Activating your bandhas consistently in your practice will help you achieve new positions and transform the practice to an internal one - consistent single pointed concentration, steady and long breath, and a calm, clear mind. The space created by proper bandha engagement helps you to regulate and control all your internal systems, hormonal, metabolic, digestive, etc
